Curriculum, learning platforms and international capacity building

Harsha was a founding steering-committee member of Telecentre.org Academy Sri Lanka, contributed to the curriculum work of the Global Telecentre.org Academy and advised on the selection and operation of its learning-management platform. The programme connected universities, telecentre practitioners and trainers across countries.

The surviving photographic record includes university-consortium meetings, Academy workshops and practical sessions. It also records collaboration with Dr. Shaddy Shadrach, Prof. Gihan Wickramanayake and other colleagues.

Taking Sri Lankan e-learning experience into regional practice

Harsha’s education-technology portfolio included learning-management-system deployment, administrator training, interface localisation and institutional capacity building involving Bhutan and other regional participants. This work joined technology selection to curriculum delivery and the ability of local teams to sustain the platform after training.

The Bhutan work belongs with Telecentre.org because both grew from the same commitment: turning networks and software into usable education systems, rather than treating connectivity as an end in itself.
