Launching the new website of the Sinhala Dictionary Compilation Institute

  • The Sinhala Dictionary Compilation Institute’s new web site was launched on Friday, August 25, 2023, at the Institute’s premises. This was held with the participation of language experts in the industry.
  • Ven. Balangoda Sobhita Nayaka Thero, Ven. Aggamaha Panditha Tirikunamale Ananda Mahanayaka Thero, Prof. S. J. Yogaraja, Prof. Chandana Jayarathna, Prof. Dusyanthi Mendis, Mr. M.R.W. Maduma, Mr. Harsha Wijayawardhana, and other consultants and staff members of the Sinhala Dictionary Compilation Institute participated in this event.
  • The website was developed by Theekshana R&D, and Mr. Harsha Wijayawardhana, CEO/CTO of Theekshana R&D, gave guidance for the development of the site.
  • Now  users can discover a rich collection of words, meanings, and linguistic insights, crafted with precision and passion.
